Wreck 1 | Weekend Car Accident Report

Authorities say a 32-year-old Allentown man riding a motorcycle crashed into another vehicle and died.  Pedro Javi Rodriguez-Espinnosa collided with the car at an intersection in Whitehall Township Sunday around 1:15 p.m.  A medical examiner stated he suffered multiple traumatic injuries and his death was ruled an accident.

Five teenagers were injured in a crash in North Philadelphia and police say a 14-year-old was behind the wheel.  It happened around 9:00 Friday night at Glenwood and Allegheny avenues.  Officers started pursuing the vehicle after it went through several traffic lights.  Police say the young driver may have panicked when he saw officers pursuing, causing him to lose control.  The vehicle collided into a parked car and flipped over.  One of the teens was thrown from the vehicle. All five victims were taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital in stable condition.  Authorities later learned that the vehicle was stolen.

Police have a driver in custody after his car allegedly struck an elderly couple crossing a street in northwestern Pennsylvania, killing a woman.  The pedestrian accident occurred in Erie County. Deputy Coroner Dennis Suscheck says authorities expect to release the woman’s name after an autopsy today,  The 66-year-old Erie woman was struck shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday as she and a male companion were walking across the street. Suscheck says the man’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Wreck 4 | Weekend Car Accident Report

Police believe a man was hunting turkeys when he was struck by two vehicles on Route 70 in Southampton Township, Burlington County.  According to New Jersey State Police, a man dressed in dark leafy camouflage had pulled over his vehicle along Route 70.  He was attempting to walk across the roadway when he was clipped by a white Mercedes station wagon.
